MAGAZINE
SALE
– Our annual sale of magazines will kicks off this Monday, August
25. This fundraiser is very
important to our school! Please
support St. John’s.
Homework
On Time (HOT) – Students are expected to complete all
work assigned by their teachers in a timely manner. Those students who do not have work
turned in by the due date and time, will be given a mark against their
HOT score. Students with less than
3 marks at the end of each quarter will be treated to a movie day at the
end of that quarter. Good Luck
– Do your homework!
OPEN
HOUSE – Mark your calendars for Thursday, September
17 at 6:30 PM. We will also be
having a Child Protection Refresher Course available that evening as
well.
Don’t Forget to Recycle – If we can recycle 15%
more than we did last year our school could win $200-$1000. Please stop by with all of your junk
mail and newspapers. It all adds
up!
Room
Mothers
– If you are interested in being a Room Mother for your
child’s class and assisting in planning events for that class,
please contact your child’s teacher. We are also looking for a Room Mother
Coordinator. This is an easy job,
and requires only a small amount of time.
Call Mrs. Miller if you are interested.

possible. Cathy will send bills
home in the next week or two.
Thank you to those who are up to date!
It’s
been a great first week! – I have visited all of the
classrooms and have tried to get to know as many names as I can. I think we have a really great school
and I am looking forward to meeting more parents as well. Thank you to everyone who has stopped
by to introduce themselves. I am
feeling very welcome!
