Our Preschool provides a foundation for quality Catholic education through prayer, song and play for our youngest students. We are committed to encouraging spiritual, physical, academic and emotional development of each individual child through discovery-based hands on learning.
As a regional Catholic school, St. John's program provides the opportunity to bring children and families together as they learn and celebrate our faith. Enrichment programs enhance children's experience at school by allowing them to explore learning through art and music.

Jag Cubs Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Haleigh Putnam
While your child is in my class they will master their ABC’s and 123’s! Working on all of the basics such as writing their name, learning colors, shapes, and excelling with their fine/gross motor skills! We also take on the challenge of learning Spanish and Sign Language. While all of this is very important we also work on what it means to be a kind and caring friend everyday! Extra curricular activities are also offered such as P.E., music, and library.
Junior Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Kate Frerking
In a lively junior kindergarten class of 4 to 5-year-olds, children are enthusiastically exploring the foundations of learning. Each day is filled with vibrant activities as they sing songs to memorize their ABCs and 123s, engage in hands-on exercises to identify shapes and colors, and start recognizing simple sight words. Their curiosity deepens as they gather around for storytime, where they discover beloved tales from the Bible, sparking their imagination and moral understanding. With each lesson, they build a joyful foundation for lifelong learning and character development.

Full Day Program
(7:55 a.m. - 2:55 p.m.)
Monday-Friday
Alternate pick-up time of 12:30 p.m. for a half day.
Junior Kindergarten
Ages 4 and 5
Our Junior Kindergarten program is for those students entering Kindergarten next year.

AFTER SCHOOL JAG CARE PROGRAM
After school care is offered from 2:55 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
This program is no additional cost for our PreK students. It is $10 a day for other students.
Early Childhood Building Renovations
This summer, the early childhood building transformed with fresh, vibrant paint, modern flooring that invites exploration, and completely renovated bathrooms designed for comfort and accessibility, creating a warm and welcoming environment for young learners.
